2019
Portfolio expansion: Partnership with Opel
Vipos Autogroup continues to grow, opening up a new direction. Autohaus Vipos LLC was established, becoming the official dealer of the German brand Opel. At the time of its opening, it was the first Opel dealership in Ukraine to be implemented in the brand’s new, cutting-edge conceptual style, once again emphasizing the group’s commitment to implementing the most advanced European standards.
2010
Passion and speed: Ferrari in Ukraine
The establishment of Redcar LLC, which has been granted the status of official Ferrari importer in Ukraine, marks the pinnacle of representation in the high-performance segment. The opening of a single-brand showroom in the heart of Kyiv has cemented VIPOS’s reputation as the leading operator in the supercar market.
2007
A year of triumph and supercars
This year has been truly fruitful in terms of awards and landmark events:
- VIPOS Automotive Group has been granted exclusive rights to represent the legendary Lamborghini brand in Ukraine.
- VIPCAR begins official sales of exotic Spyker sports cars.
- CEO Viktor Postelnikov is recognized as one of the best top managers in the industry according to TOP-100.
- The company receives the prestigious “Automotive Discovery of the Year” award for opening the Audi Center Kyiv South.
- Viktor Postelnikov is presented with the personal award “Master of the Ukrainian Automotive Market” by former Ukrainian President Leonid Kravchuk.
- On August 30, the Audi Academy is opened to improve staff qualifications.
2006
Breakthrough in the premium segment and industrial ambitions
- VIPOS Automotive Group becomes the most dynamic company in the premium segment, selling around 1,200 Audi cars and demonstrating sales growth of 36.1%.
- It marked the opening of a fundamentally new direction—the development of its own car production at the plant in Kherson.
- Audi Center VIPOS once again confirms its status by receiving an award for the best service in Ukraine.
- The company moves to a new modern office complex, symbolizing radical changes and growth.
2005
A year of major premieres and new horizons
This year has been one of the most eventful:
- In May, after a year and a half of efforts, VIPCAR proudly received the status of exclusive dealer of Bentley Motors LTD in Ukraine.
- The Vipos Automobile Plant was established in Kherson, laying the foundation for in-house production.
- OSTCAR was founded, becoming the general importer of Asian brands BAW and HUAXIANG GROUP on November 2.
- The VIPOS Automotive Group signed an agreement to import products from the world-renowned tuning studio Abt Sportsline.
- Audi Center VIPOS once again received a diploma for the best service in Ukraine.
2004
Double recognition
The quality of the group’s companies’ work is highly regarded. Audi Center VIPOS was named “Best Dealer of 2004” by the importer. In turn, German Motors was awarded the title of “Best VW Service in Ukraine” at the Volkswagen dealer conference in Ukraine, which has become the company’s calling card.
2003
Towards British luxury
VIPCAR is embarking on an ambitious campaign to represent the legendary Bentley brand in Ukraine—a benchmark of quality, elegance, and prestige throughout the world. This marks the beginning of a new phase in the company’s history, aimed at conquering the super-luxury segment.
2002
Opening of the flagship Audi Center VIPOS
Audi Center VIPOS opens its doors in Kyiv—the first conceptual dealership in the capital and the Kyiv region, built to the highest standards of Audi AG. This center has become the brand’s flagship for many years. At the same time, German Motors won the All-Ukrainian competition “Car Service of the Year 2002,” confirming the high quality of its services.
1998
Tested by crisis
Thanks to its broad business diversification, including previous investments in the tourism industry, VIPOS successfully weathered the 1998 financial crisis. Although the company suffered losses, they were not fatal. The management experience gained during this difficult period proved invaluable for further development and once again confirmed the correctness of the decision to create an enterprise operating in the real sector of the economy.
1996
Exclusive partnership with Audi
A landmark event takes place, defining the premium development vector of the group. VIPOS Automotive Group signs an exclusive distribution agreement with Audi AG, becoming the sole official importer of the brand in Ukraine. It was a bold and ambitious step that demonstrated the company’s belief in the potential of the Ukrainian premium car market.
1993
The beginning of the Volkswagen era in Ukraine
This year was a landmark for the entire Ukrainian car market. Following successful negotiations, VIPOS entered into a strategic partnership with the German Volkswagen Group. In December 1993, German Motors, the first official Volkswagen AG dealer in Ukraine, was opened, laying the foundation for the creation of a civilized dealer network and the introduction of European service standards.
1992
Founding and first steps
The company’s history dates back to 1992, when Viktor Postelnikov and Nikolai Kovalchuk founded VIPOS Ltd. Initially, the company focused on organizing cargo transportation, but soon car imports became its main activity. In the context of economic transformation, VIPOS used business models that were progressive at the time, attracting highly qualified specialists from state research institutes to create competitive developments. One of the first significant achievements was the successful completion of an order for the development of a complex high-tech control system for aircraft power units.

Viktor Mykolayovych Postelnikov is an entrepreneur whose activities have had a significant impact on the development of the automotive business in Ukraine. Born at a time when automotive culture in the country was just beginning to take shape, he sought to bring European standards to the industry from the very beginning.
His professional career began in the 1990s, a period of great change and new opportunities. Postelnikov was able to see the potential where most people saw only risks.
I have always believed that real business is not just about profit. It is about responsibility for people, products, and the country in which you work.
For Postelnikov, the key principles have always been quality, honesty, and continuous development. He wanted VIPOS not only to sell cars, but also to shape a new business ethic—one that is transparent, customer-oriented, and based on long-term relationships.
His approach to leadership is based on teamwork and investing in people. He believes that it is the team that makes the company strong.
Today, VIPOS is a diversified group of companies that combines automotive business, manufacturing, electric transport, and aviation services. And in each of these areas, Viktor Postelnikov’s philosophy is evident—moving forward, innovation, and responsibility. Viktor Postelnikov is a man who stood at the origins of Ukraine’s civilized automotive market and continues to inspire a new generation of VIPOS specialists with his vision and energy.
